Darryl Aubrey, President Pro Tem

Council Terms
Darryl Aubrey was first elected to the Village Council of North Palm Beach in September, 2006. Currently serving as President Pro Tem, Dr. Aubrey previously served as Mayor in 2014, 2011, Vice Mayor in 2010 and 2013, and President Pro Tem in 2008, 2009, and 2012.
 
Background
Prior to election to the Council, Dr. Aubrey held executive positions with Exxon and with IBM, and was a tenured professor of management and department head at Sacred Heart University. Dr. Aubrey has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, a master of business administration degree and a doctor of science degree in management systems. Dr. Aubrey served in the U.S. Navy as a commissioned officer with the 6th Fleet.
Councilmember Aubrey is a coordinator of the AARP Tax Aide Program and volunteers as an AARP Tax Aide in North Palm Beach. Dr. Aubrey is an officer and long-time member of the Palm Beach Sail and Power Squadron.  Dr. Aubrey previously served on the Florida League of Cities Fiscal Stewardship Council in 2007 and the Finance and Taxation Legislative Policy Committee from 2008-2013
