The 2021 Touch-A-Truck and Fire Safety Fair is back this year and will be held Saturday, October 3 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Anchorage Park. Admission is free.
The event includes, fire fighting demonstrations, and a variety of working trucks that make life possible in the modern world. And it will give kids a chance to sit in the driver's seat of many different styles of big trucks and vehicles.
It’s a great learning experience for kids and adults, and is popular every year.
AT the Fire Safety Fair all will have a great opportunity to see the equipment firefighters use and meet the people who train and work hard to keep the Village safe around the clock.
The goal of the event is to remind people to look, listen and learn, to be aware of fire danger, and to make a home plan for escaping a fire safely.
The address of Anchorage Park is 603 Anchorage Drive. For information, call the Parks and Recreation Department at (561) 841-3386.
