Chuck Huff, long-time Special Projects Director for North Palm Beach, has been appointed as Public Works Director by Village Manager Andy Lukasik. “Chuck’s knowledge of Village operations, problem solving skills, customer service focus and ability to build and motivate a high performing team made the decision to give him the responsibility to lead Public Works an easy one," Lukasik said. "In a short period of time, he’s already recruited talented managers to assist him in guiding operations and dramatically changed the organizational culture. Chuck and the entire Public Works team will undoubtedly improve the Village’s delivery of services to the community.”
Chuck has served as Assistant Public Works Director in the past, as Director of Community Development and Director of Food and Beverage at the Country Club. He has been heavily involved in just about every major Village project for 16 years and has even served as acting Village Manager during periods of transition, so he knows the intricacies of the Village in ways that few people do.
Chuck welcomes calls and emails about any maintenance and public facilities problems and wants to make sure residents are given top-quality service. One of Chuck's priorities is to make sure residents get information about projects that may affect them, such as road pavings, changes to trash pick-up schedules, etc., so he's working to make sure information on the Village website and social media is up to date.
Feel free to call Chuck at (561) 904-2139 if you have any Public Works questions or issues you think need attention. He he'll send someone out to take a look, determine what is needed and then prioritize projects.
