The Village of North Palm Beach will be receiving sealed bids for the Earman River Transfer Pump Station. Sealed bids (one original and three copies) will be received by the Village Clerk’s Office at 501 U.S. Highway One, North Palm Beach, Florida 33408 until 2:15 P.M. EST on February 26, 2018. Any bids received after the time specified will not be accepted and shall be returned unopened to the Bidder. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Village Hall Conference Room.
The Invitation to Bid is open to inspection and may be obtained at Village Hall, 501 U.S. Highway One, North Palm Beach, Florida 33408 or on the Village’s website: www.village-npb.org.
A mandatory pre-Bid meeting is scheduled for 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the North Palm Beach Public Works Department, 645 Prosperity Farms Road, North Palm Beach, FL 33408. Representatives of the Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the project. Failure to attend the mandatory pre-Bid meeting may result in rejection of your bid.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing date for the receipt of bids, except as otherwise provided in the Instructions to Bidders and Terms and Conditions.
Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security. The amount of the security shall not be less than five percent (5%) of the Bidder’s total price indicated in the Bid Proposal Form.
The Village of North Palm Beach shall accept the bid of the lowest responsive, responsible bidder that best meets the needs of the Village, taking into consideration, among other things, the financial responsibility of the bidder, proven skill and experience, capability to perform the contract on a timely basis, previous satisfactory performance, and such other abilities of the bidder that the Village, in its sole discretion, determines will enable the bidder to perform effectively and efficiently.
The Village of North Palm Beach reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to make awards either as individual items or as a total combined bid, to waive any technicality or informality, and to reject all bids and re-advertise.
