The Village Council has appointed a resident ad-hoc committee of industry professionals to advise the council on potential updates to the residential code of ordinances. Many issues have been raised by residents over time in regards to preserving neighborhood character, creating landscape standards, and compatibility of new homes among many other issues. The committee has been tasked with addressing potential regulations to these issues over the next 6 months in a public hearing setting, allowing for additional resident input throughout the process. As an advisory committee, it will be providing final recommendations to the Village Council, who will then be tasked to approve as recommended or make changes as needed.
