Hurricane Preparedness

Hurricane season begins June 1 and runs through November 30, with the highest risk for storms typically in August and September. The Village of North Palm Beach is committed to helping residents stay informed, prepared, and safe throughout the season.

We work closely with local, state, and federal agencies to prepare for hurricanes, flooding, and other natural or man-made emergencies. Emergency response in our area is coordinated by the Palm Beach County Division of Emergency Management, which oversees regional shelters, evacuation planning, and public safety efforts.
