Why is registration now required?

Due to high attendance and limited space, registration helps us maintain a safe, calm, and engaging environment for all participants and ensures fair access to parking for families and seniors.

How do I register?

Use the Google Form linked via QR code or our website for each specific session you'd like to attend. A separate form is required for each child and each week. You may also ask for assistance at the Children’s Circulation Desk.

When can I register?

North Palm Beach Residents: Registration opens May 17

Non-Residents: Registration opens May 24

Each session has its own registration link — be sure to sign up for every week you plan to attend.

How will I know if I got in?

After submitting your registration form, you’ll receive an email from npbchildrens@gmail.com either confirming your spot or notifying you that you are on the waitlist.

Do I need to register each week?

Yes. Each storytime or program session requires separate weekly registration.

Can I register more than one child?

Yes, please submit a separate registration form for each child. This helps us manage headcounts accurately.

Can we just show up?

Unfortunately, walk-ins are not guaranteed space. Only registered participants who receive a confirmation email are guaranteed a spot.

What if a session is full?

You may join the waitlist. If a spot becomes available, we will contact you.

What if we can’t attend after registering?

Please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the space to another family. Contact us at npbchildrens@gmail.com or call (561) 841-3383.

What happens if we miss our session without canceling?

After two no-shows without notifying us, families may be removed from current registrations and lose registration privileges for future sessions.

Can my child attend more than one session per week?

To allow as many families to participate as possible, each child may attend one storytime session per week.

Can siblings come too?

Yes, siblings are welcome when childcare is not available. Please ensure their behavior is respectful of the intended age group. Children ages 9 and older may remain in the Children's Room during programs as long as they follow library rules.

What if we’re late?

We recommend arriving a few minutes early. If you are more than 10 minutes late, your spot may be released to a family on the waitlist.

Can my child attend more than one session per week?

To ensure fairness and access for more families, each child may attend one storytime per week. Siblings whom attend storytime do not apply to this rule.
