We're Celebrating Public Works Week May 18 thru May 24, 2025!

 

This year’s theme, “People, Purpose, Presence,” shines a light on the values that drive our Public Works team in the Village of North Palm Beach. Serving our residents is at the heart of what they do, and that service is what gives their work meaning. Most of the time, you may not even realize they’re there, but that’s the point. When roads are clear, parks are clean, and trash disappears without a second thought, it's thanks to the steady presence of Public Works, always working behind the scenes to keep the Best Place to Live Under the Sun running strong.

Solid Waste Division

When it comes to keeping the Village clean and clutter-free, our Solid Waste team is always up to the task! From daily garbage and recycling collection to bulk pickups, these hardworking professionals are the unsung heroes of curbside care. They’re out there early, rain or shine, making sure North Palm Beach stays beautiful and tidy.

Their commitment helps maintain the high quality of life our residents value. Thank you to our Solid Waste crew for all you do to keep the Village running smoothly! 

Streets & Stormwater Division

Whether it’s fixing sidewalks, repairing potholes, clearing storm drains, or replacing street signs, the Streets & Stormwater Division keeps the Village moving…literally! These crews help prevent flooding, protect roadways, and maintain critical infrastructure throughout North Palm Beach.

They’re often behind the scenes, but their impact is everywhere. Thanks to their efforts, our streets stay safe, and our drainage systems work efficiently, even during South Florida downpours.

Fleet Division

Police cars, fire trucks, garbage trucks, pickups, tractors. You name it, Fleet keeps it moving.

Our Fleet Division maintains over 130 Village vehicles and pieces of equipment, making sure every department can operate safely and efficiently. From routine maintenance to emergency repairs, they are the mechanical minds behind the scenes. They extend the life of our vehicles and keep downtime to a minimum.
