Village team works together to protect environment

Seven Environmental Committee members standing together for a group photoIn North Palm Beach, environmental protection isn’t just a priority—it’s a team effort. From Village Council decisions to daily staff operations, every department plays a role in preserving our natural beauty, protecting local waterways and supporting native wildlife.

Leading the charge is the Village Environmental Committee, a group of seven dedicated residents appointed to help guide the community’s green efforts. They work to identify environmental concerns, raise awareness, plan special events, and recommend policies and programs that promote sustainability throughout the Village.

Whether it’s through eco-friendly landscaping, smart planning, community cleanups or public education, the entire Village team is committed to doing its part.

Together with residents and local businesses, we’re building a greener, cleaner North Palm Beach—one step at a time.

Trees are Important to Quality of Life in NPB

Preserving trees in South Florida is of utmost importance due to the region’s unique and fragile ecosystems. To help protect these natural resources, the Village recently introduced a Tree Removal Permit. This permit must be obtained anytime a resident plans to remove a tree, ensuring thoughtful consideration of environmental impact.
