If you are interested in joining the North Palm Beach Police Explorers, please print and fill out the Explorer Application below. Once completed, please drop off your application the NPB Police Department at 560 US Highway 1, or email Sergeant Yesenia Collura at ycollura@village-npb.org.

The North Palm Beach Police Explorers bring local youth and law enforcement together through leadership, teamwork, and training. The North Palm Beach Police Explorers are a group of young people ages 14 to 21 with a 2.0 or higher GPA (grade point average) and good moral character, who have an interest in learning about law enforcement as a possible career. Explorers learn about the law, court procedures, police patrol techniques, and organizational skills.The Explorer Program provides youth with an opportunity to work side by side with police officers and observe their daily duties. Additionally, the North Palm Beach Police Explorers attend all special events and contribute numerous hours of volunteer services to their community.
Competitions
The North Palm Beach Police Explorers compete against other explorers in both local and state competitions. The explorers compete in the following scenarios:
- Active Shooter
- Bomb Threat
- Crime Scene
- Crisis Intervention
- Felony Stop
- Physical Agility
- Search and Arrest
- Traffic Crash
Requirements
- Ages 14 to 21 years old
- Minimum 2.0 GPA
- Provide Your Most Recent Report Card
- Pass A Background Check
