Board Appointments
Village Boards advise the Council on community issues and activities. Applications for Village Boards, Committees, and Commissions are accepted in the Village Clerk's office throughout the year. Annual appointments to all boards are made by the Village Council in April, and appointments to fill vacant positions are made as necessary. Appointees serve for a period of 1-3 years, depending on the board. Members of the Pension Boards and Planning Commission are required to file an annual financial disclosure with the Florida Commission on Ethics.
To apply for a Village Board, you may or download the application for appointment (PDF-fillable), or the Business Advisory Board Application, or call or email the Clerk's office to have an application sent to you. Return your completed application and resume (optional) to the Clerk's office. If you applied previously for a Village board and wish to have your application renewed, please contact the Clerk's office.
Ethics training is required for ALL Village elected officials, employees and Advisory Board members, upon initial appointment or election and re-appointment or re-election.
