It is with deep sadness that the Village shares the passing of Village Councilmember Kristin Garrison.
Kristin served the Village of North Palm Beach with sincerity, thoughtfulness, and a genuine love for this community. Since joining the Village Council in 2024, she approached her role with compassion and a strong commitment to serving others. Her leadership made a lasting impact on the Village.
Kristin devoted more than 35 years of her life to public service. She served as City Manager for the Town of Gulf Stream and later dedicated more than 20 years to the School District as Director of Planning and Intergovernmental Relations. Throughout her career, she was known for her professionalism, integrity, and unwavering commitment to the communities she served.
Kristin will always be remembered as a valued neighbor, a trusted leader, and a cherished member of the Village family.
Personal
Kristin was married for more than 30 years to Edward A. Garrison, who has served as a Judge on both the County and Circuit Court in Palm Beach County for more than 35 years.
The Garrisons have resided in North Palm Beach since 1995. Outside of public service, their interests include time with family, theater, boating, and extensive international travel.
Civic Involvement
Kristin previously served on the Village on the Planning Commission for several terms, both in the mid-1990s and again in in the mid-2010s. She has served as President of her HOA and later the POA for Harbor Point Marina. In addition, in 2000 Kris served as President of the Palm Beach County City Management Association.
