Captain Kevin J. Drummond is a seasoned law enforcement professional with over 15 years of public safety experience and a strong foundation in legal affairs, professional standards, and policy compliance. He currently oversees The Office of Professional Standards for the North Palm Beach Police Department, where he manages CALEA accreditation, legal inquiries, policies briefings and training to department staff.
Throughout his distinguished career, Captain Drummond has served in a variety of sworn roles with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement’s Capitol Police Division, the Florida Highway Patrol, Palm Beach Shores Police Department, and Juno Beach Police Department. His responsibilities have ranged from compliance investigations and commercial vehicle enforcement to serving as an Accreditation Manager and Legal Advisor. He presently serves as a Captain for the Village of North Palm Beach.

In addition to his policing career, Captain Drummond is a licensed attorney admitted to practice in Florida and multiple other jurisdictions and including The Supreme Court of United States. He is also a certified pilot, adding to his diverse skill set and leadership capacity. His combined legal knowledge and operational experience support the department’s mission of integrity, accountability, and community trust.
