[ARCHIVED] Council will select Mayor, Vice Mayor, President Pro Tem Thursday

Here is a summary of the key issues the Village Council will address at their meeting on Thursday, March 13 at 6 p.m. in Village Hall:

  • Administer Councilmember oaths, nominate Council officers (Mayor, Vice Mayor, President Pro Tem), and administer related oaths of office.
  • Consider amending the Comprehensive Pay Plan to reclassify the Parks Supervisor position to Recreation Supervisor, adding a Communications Specialist position, removing one Fire Inspector position, reclassifying the pay grade of the Facilities Manager, reclassifying the full-time Building Official to Building Director, and eliminating the Community Development Director position.
  • Consider on 1st reading, amending Village Code to update the General Rules and Regulations applicable to the Country Club, clarifying hours of operation and explicitly outlining prohibitions against damaging or defacing facilities, including golf course grass and bunkers, and explicitly prohibiting the use of any vehicles other than properly authorized Village golf carts on the golf course. This is in response to repeated damage cause to facilities by after-hours riders on bikes and various motorized vehicles.
  • Consider accepting the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report prepared by the Village Auditor for Fiscal Year ending September 30, 2024.
