Here is a summary of the key issues the Village Planning Commission will discuss at their meeting on Tuesday, January 11th, at 6:30 p.m. in Village Hall:
- Review an application submitted by Paradise Villas Condominium Association on Paradise Harbour Boulevard, requesting Site Plan and Appearance approval for the installation of two tiki huts.
- Consider approval of a master sign program on Prosperity Farms Road for a commercial building in the 9200 block (Village Grocery).
- Consider approval of a sign at Bellagio Dental in the 500 block of Northlake Boulevard.
- Consider an appeal of the administrative denial of a permit in the 900 block of Shore Drive for electrical work to provide increased power to dock pedestals. The Village Community Development Department denied the application in part because it violated a provision of code that prohibits the location of mechanical equipment in the front yard of residential properties.
