[ARCHIVED] Agenda summary for March 14 Council meeting

The Council will: 

  • Dedication Plaque in Memory of Tom Magill: In memory of Tom Magill, a community stalwart and tireless volunteer, whose dedication brightened our village. His legacy of service on the Village Audit Committee and beyond will forever inspire us.
  • Proclamation in Recognition of International Women's Day: March 8th is International Women's Day! Let's celebrate the achievements of women worldwide and renew our commitment to equality. Join us in honoring the remarkable women who shape our community.
  • Proclamation in Recognition of Women's History Month: March is Women's History Month! Let's salute the trailblazing women who've shaped our past and continue to inspire our future. Cheers to the women who make history every day!
  • Consideration of Changes to Chapter 27 of Village Code: "Sight Triangles" Regulations: We're making our intersections safer! Proposed changes ensure clear sightlines for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians. Let's keep our streets safe and clear!
  • Consideration of Proposal for Pond Bank Stabilization at Country Club Golf Course: Protecting our greens! Marsh Management Systems proposes pond bank stabilization at the Country Club Golf Course. Let's safeguard our course for endless rounds of fun!
  • Consideration of Contract for Golf Course Maintenance Services: A hole-in-one deal! Brightview Golf Maintenance offers top-notch service to keep our Country Club Golf Course pristine. Let's tee off with the best maintenance in town!
