[ARCHIVED] Thursday's Council meeting will begin at 6 p.m.

NOTE: NEW COUNCIL START TIME OF 6:00 p.m.

Here is a summary of the key issues the Village Council will address at their meeting on Thursday, June 27 at 6 p.m. in Village Hall: 

  • Issue a proclamation recognizing National Parks and Recreation Month.
  • Consider accepting the Selection Committee's ranking for the Bridge Design Consultant for the Lighthouse Drive Bridge Replacement Project.
  • Consider on second reading, approval of an ordinance to prohibit smoking in Village parks.
  • Consider on first reading, approval of an amendment to increase compensation for the Mayor and Village Council members. This increase would start with the Council members elected in March 2025.
  • Consider changing the starting time for regular Village Council meetings to 6 p.m.
  • Consider accepting a proposal from Florida Haverland Ag Innovations for athletic field turf maintenance services at a cost not to exceed $222,708.
  • Consider accepting a proposal from Mueller Construction Company for the renovation of the Anchorage Park restrooms at a cost not to exceed $82,190.
  • Consider accepting proposals from selected firms to provide building department services as needed.
  • Consider designating a voting delegate for the Florida League of Cities Conference.
  • Hold a discussion about the Village Business Advisory Board.
