Here is a summary of the key issues the Village Council will address at their meeting on Thursday, June 26 at 6 p.m. in Village Hall:
- Attorney-client session: At 5:15 p.m., before the start of the Regular Council meeting, the Council will hold a closed attorney-client session with the Village Attorney to discuss pending litigation against the Village. This session is closed to the public pursuant to Florida Statute 286.011 (8).
- Employee retirement plan updates – Consider proposed changes to the Village’s Defined Contribution and 457 plans for employees.
- FDOT lighting agreement – Consider approving a highway, lighting, maintenance and compensation agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation for lighting facilities along U.S. Highway One and Alternate A1A.
- NPB University continues – Dive into the next session of “NPB University,” highlighting budgets, projects and priorities for General Government and the Building and Zoning Department.
- Bridge design workshop – Hold a discussion about design options for the future of the Lighthouse Drive Bridge and its role in Village transportation needs.
