Obtaining Business Tax Receipts and checking updates

To manage Business Tax Receipts, the Village uses an online service called MyGovernmentOnline, also known as MGO.

This system allows for better tracking and access than our old paper-based method. With MGO, you can:

  • Apply online and submit paperless plans and documents for all Business Tax Receipt applications including new applications, addition or deletion of professionals, renewals of existing applications, as well as a change of address, name or ownership.
  • Track the progress of BTR applications under review from submittal to approval. 
  • View and print copies of review comment letters. 
  • Request inspections online if needed.

Getting Started 

Users can easily create an account with MGO. Upon creation of an account and phone number verification, all applications associated with your phone number will be linked to your account.

Palm Beach County BTR

Keep in mind, in addition to a Village BTR, you also will need a second Business Tax Receipt from Palm Beach County. You can learn more about that at this link.
