The Village of North Palm Beach Code of Ordinances can be viewed online through Municode.
Ordinances are official legislative actions, and are regulations of a general and permanent nature and enforceable as a local law. Ordinances require two readings and a public hearing, and must be publicly advertised prior to second, final reading and adoption. All proposed ordinances, as well as supporting documentation may be reviewed online or in the Village Clerk's office prior to council action. Current meeting backup documents are available for your review by 5 p.m. on Friday of the week prior to the council meeting.
Public Hearing of Proposed Ordinances
Before second, final reading and vote to enact by the Village Council, proposed ordinances are listed online on the Public Hearings page and are noticed in the Palm Beach Post or Sun Sentinel newspapers. Members of the public are invited to attend public hearings and speak to the Council regarding proposed ordinances.
A printed copy of the entire Code of Ordinances and printed copies of all ordinances and resolutions are available in the Village Clerk’s Office for review during regular office hours. If you have any questions regarding current agenda backup, proposed or adopted ordinances, or wish to have an ordinance or other document emailed to you, contact the clerk’s office at 561-841-3355 or email the Village Clerk.
